Describe your perfect day: Wake up, go surfing, eat and hang out with my friends, surf again.. and maybe then again eat and sleep!

NSSA Southwest Open season event #10


NSSA Southwest Open season event #10 Huntington Beach CA Southside of the pier. April 4-5, 2009

Can you imagine what it would be like to have perfect 4-6 foot faced waves, perfect shaped waves and glassy conditions with frothing groms ripping? Well it was a great weekend with good surfing action from the young up and comers who are trying to make a name for their selves or show off their shredding skills.

When it it all came to an end on Sunday, the Spy guys were the standouts as always. Parker Coffin from Santa Barbara finished 2nd in the Open Juniors division while Kanoa Igarashi place 2nd in the Open Boys division.

Poor young Luke Davis had to bow out of the event because he got the Chicken Pox on Sunday. We wish you a speedy recovery Luke. Don’t itch yourself!

Describe your perfect day: In the morning: great waves with my mates, then come home and eat, sleep and do an evening surf. Early eve play a game of touch footie. Eat a good meal then sleep and do it all over again.

Contests or Freeride? Describe likes and dislikes: Contest. I love to compete against my mates. Winning is such a great feeling. Free surfing is also really enjoyable. Getting good waves with your mates is all time.
