LOUIE VITO WINS AGAIN AT THE US SNOWBOARDING GRAND PRIX IN KILLINGTON
Spy’s nineteen-year-old Louie Vito had his work cut out for him at the final stop of the Chevy Grand Prix series in Killington, Vermont. Louie qualified second going into the finals with a few key competitors to beat for the overall title and a brand new truck.
His first run, which consisted of back to back 10's, back to back 9's and a crippler, put him in first. With one run remaining it was a waiting game. Janne Corpi, the number one qualifier and last rider was unable to beat Louie’s flawless performance. Louie was crowned the 2008 Chevy U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix champion and drove home to Sandy, Utah in a brand new Chevy truck.
You can’t stop this freight train of talent…Louie is just coming off of two wins at the second stop of the U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix in Tamarack and the 48Straight Jeep King of the Mountain event along with a second at the Vans Cup Tahoe. He now just sits outside the TTR top 15 at World No. 16. Not bad for this Columbus, Ohio native with a stellar halfpipe career ahead of him.
