Why Spy? Their product is the best. Also it’s a great opportunity to work with a awesome goggle company while getting exposure through the film company that Josh Berman (Spy Ski Team Manager and Level 1 Productions) runs.
Team Member Since: 2005.
After a big fall or injury; What motivates you to get up and do it again: The same thing that motivated me to begin with, the fun of it all.
Favorite Trick: 180 tail grab.
Describe how you feel when you can't ride due to and injury or travel, etc: Anxious, out of my element!
Favorite country, spot, hill, park, etc: My favorite spots are constantly changing because I’m constantly learning about new areas with all sorts of different feature options. I’m currently a fan of Europe in general for the simple reasons. The family vibe you get in those mountain villages from the crew of riders is something that is hard to find. The mountains are GNARLY, and the laws are laid back, you can cut ropes and do anything, the bottom line is you are responsible for your actions and I like that.
Describe your perfect day: 3 feet of fresh snow on a Wednesday, 15 degrees at the canyons shredding snow with my bros.
Favorite Spy sunglasses and/or Goggle and why: I really am a solid
Spy Soldier goggles advocate. I have worn it since it came out and always loved the vision field and the way it fits my face.
Contests or Filming? Describe likes and dislikes: Filming, you can do what looks good without always spinning 1080. Also the people who buy the movies generally are aware of the material, some contests seem the opposite. Filming isn’t all good though, there are days off that just don’t work out for you and that is really frustrating, but not as frustrating as landing a good run in a contest and getting judged poorly. That’s why in my mind filming goes above contests on the totem pole.
Most inspired by: Mickael, Tanner, Pep
Favorite Tunes: Reggae, Rap,pretty much Everything
Where you coming from and what's next: I’m coming from Utah, and I’m gonna bring the passion in style for skiing to everyone I meet.
What Videos will you featured in 2007: Level 1 Productions new flick. Filthy Rich Productions flick possibly.
Favorite Photographer and/or Artist: That’s a hard question. I like Salvador Dali paintings a lot. As far as photographers I'm not sure.
