At the WCT Billabong Pro at J Bay, Dean placed 3rd, beating both Bobby Martinez and Andy Irons, but was narrowly overcome in the semi finals by Kelly Slater. With that result Dean was lifted up to the 9th spot in the overall rating on the elite ASP World Championship Tour...

Weimer eventually finished 4th in the moto and 5th overall that day. Eight Spy team riders finished inside the top 20 at Red Bud... WAKE BUZZ...Wakeboard season is in full swing and Jimmy La Riche is on a tear right now in the Jr. Menâs division winning every event he enters, or at least getting himself on the podium... Danny Harf is currently in 4th place on the Pro Tour standings, while Shane Bonifay is out and about spreading the stoke and showing how a board is supposed to be ridden with the style that only Shane possesses... bro Parks Bonifay is finally recovered from knee surgery and took first place at The Carnival, an all rail event. Be sure to check out the Parks Bonifay documentary when it releases in a few months...
Chad Sharpe is holding it down on the contest side of things as well, getting himself on the podium a few times this season so far...
